Applicant's Story

Regarding your work experience, what's most appealing to you?

'The purpose of my work'

When do you know you've done a good job?

'I feel it'

Why are you a caregiver... or want to become one?

'I am a caregiver because I want to give other people the kind of care I would want for my family. Seeing a client doing well and their family happy makes me feel happy and accomplished! I've had a great two years with ComForCare!'

Tell me of a time when you were there for someone who really needed you.

'When my husband lost his Nephew/godson I was there to comfort him and help him with little things like making sure he had food, clean clothes and love all around him.'

Think of the person who was most meaningful to you growing up. What made them special to you?

'My whole family is meaningful to me. Now that I am older I realize how they all were special to me in many ways and I wouldn't be the person I am today without them.'

Please share one or two memories that you had with that person.

'Fishing in Kenai,Alaska with my whole family is one of my favorite memories. they taught me how to work hard and never give up (waiting for fish and in real life). Then afterwards we would have a huge bonfire with everyone and just enjoy theoutdoors, and enjoying the fresh food out hardwork got us.'

How can I help create a supportive and positive work experience for you?

'It's already great!'
